In this is 4 week mini hand building session you will get a taste of the possibilities hand building with clay holds. We will cover coiling, slab building, surface decoration in just 4 weeks! On week 4 students will learn how to glaze!
Student will complete 2 projects - mugs and sgraffito dishes. Sgraffito is a surface decoration technique where you paint underglaze and carve designs through the color. This exposes the clay color underneath. Allowing for a fun way to add both contrast and texture.
